Terms of Service
Last updated 5 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Meezan. The most important thing to understand up front: Meezan prepares your UAE tax filings to a filing-ready standard, but it is not a tax adviser and does not submit returns for you. A registered UAE Tax Agent completes the final filing on EmaraTax.
The service
Meezan reads the financial documents you provide, computes your VAT (Form 201) and Corporate Tax positions against current UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) rules, and compiles a complete filing package with supporting schedules and source documents.
Not tax, legal, or financial advice
Meezan is software, not a licensed tax agent, accountant, or law firm. Its calculations, answers, and drafts are informational and must be reviewed by a qualified professional before you rely on them. Nothing in the product creates an adviser–client relationship. For advice specific to your circumstances, consult a registered UAE Tax Agent or qualified accountant.
The final filing is a licensed step
No software can legally log in to EmaraTax and submit on your behalf. Meezan takes your filing to a 100% filing-ready state; a registered UAE Tax Agent files the final step. You remain responsible for appointing that agent and for the accuracy of what is ultimately submitted to the FTA.
Your responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate, and genuine source documents.
- Review computed figures and drafts before any submission.
- Keep your account credentials secure and your TRN details correct.
- Use Meezan only for lawful tax-compliance purposes.
Accuracy and deadlines
We work hard to keep Meezan aligned with current FTA rules and thresholds, but tax law changes and edge cases exist. You are responsible for meeting your own registration and filing deadlines. Meezan’s reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee against penalties.
Fees
Paid plans are billed as described at sign-up. Fees for a completed billing period are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give reasonable notice before changing prices.
Intellectual property
Meezan, its software, and its design remain our property. You retain full ownership of the documents and data you upload. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process that data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Meezan is provided “as is”. We are not liable for penalties, interest, or losses arising from inaccurate source data, missed deadlines, or reliance on output that was not reviewed by a qualified professional. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Suspension & termination
You may stop using Meezan at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or unlawful use. On termination you can export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted, subject to legal retention requirements.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Questions about these terms: admin@sinan.agency.
Not tax or legal advice. Meezan is software that helps you prepare UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings. It does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice, and it does not file on your behalf. A registered UAE Tax Agent completes the final submission on EmaraTax.
